….we finally boarded our plane in mo bay and i slept for about two hours listening to Nate’s music… so when we got to Charlotte, we had to re-check everything and just barely made it to our next flight… we watched Chocolat and i listened to more of Nate’s music… so we missed our plane in Phoenix and Kyle and Danielle are running around like crazy people trying to get us a flight. we finally got one to John Wayne instead of Ontario are we were only 3 hours late. oh and they lost Peake’s luggage…

…we just took another really relaxing shower. it felt so good. i almost prefer it to regular showers. it started thundering when we were showering. standing outside under a shower of cold water in the hot evening, with the sun setting, the rain falling and the trees above you, listening to all of the animals around you is so peaceful. i will never have another experience like this again…

…it just started pouring. it’s so cool. the lightning is so close! dinner is chicken and rice with macaroni and potatoes. delicious… after dinner we had some group time where we sat under the stars and told stories and playing pictionary…

…Jamaican man named Herman asked us riddles today. (after our hike to “the Square”) “if 40 legs have 40 legs, then how many feet does it have?” Answer: none. 40 legs is jamaican for centipede. the other was “what two kinds of doctors don’t go to school” Answer: doctor bird and doctor fish. he’s really nice…

…we went to the little shops on the “Hip Strip” in Montego Bay, and i bought a photo album. after that we went down to the beach and felt the water. it was amazing! blue, aqua clear water, 70 degrees, amazing. Nate said it’s still clear 100 feet out. afte that we found out the group we were riding up to Catadupa with was going to be late so we hung out and talked under a tree for 6 hours…
